• An Economic forum that shows the Saudi women ability to influence the economic environment

    Asharqia Chamber  launches in November Women's Economic Forum 2016


     
           Asharqia Chamber represented by the Businesswomen Center continues its preparations for the launch of the fifth edition of the Women's Economic Forum, which comes under the auspices of the campus of the Prince of the Eastern Province,  Her Highness Princess Abeer girl Faisal bin Turki, in the 23 to 24 November, at the Sheraton Hotel in Dammam.
    The forum aims at strengthening the economic role of women, through reviewing of  her needs as a businesswoman, and stating the ways to face the challenges she faces, as well as contributing to the active participation in the economic life of being a partner in development.
    For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber said that the forum this year will  witness the participation of some of the speakers who are specialists in economic affairs, in order to shed light on many of the issues that contribute to the empowerment of women in the economic field, and to stress the importance of their role in this matter.
    For his part, the head of  Asharqia Chamber   Abdul Rahman bin Saleh Ataishan, said that the chamber represented  by the Businesswomen Center continues its preparations on several aspects for the launch of women economic forum in its fifth version, valuing the patronage of Princess Princess Abeer girl Faisal bin Turki , for this year Forum, referring to her  interest in supporting the movement of women in various economic fields in the Eastern Province for a doubling of contributions to the train of development.
    Ataishan said that year forum has a special feature, as it comes amid the start of the kingdom vision 2030, which emphasized the importance of investment of the talents and energies of Saudi women and enable them to get the right opportunities to build their future, which is reflected on the improvement of the society and the economy together, in addition to its emphasis on the need to raise the rate of participation of Saudi women in the labor market from 22% to 30%.
    For her part, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Businesswomen Council and a member of
    Asharqia Chamber  Manahel Al Hamdan, explained that the forum this year starts with a vision that its goal to take the performance of Saudi women to a high level of effectiveness as a partner in the development process.
    Al Hamdan explained that the Forum will witness the participation of a number of female Highnesses and a group of businesswomen in the Arabian Gulf and Arab countries and a set of specialists speakers in the economic affairs, in order to shed light on many of the issues that contribute to the empowerment of women in the economic field, and to highlight the importance of their role in this context.
